San José de Ocoa.– El director provincial en San José de Ocoa del Instituto Nacional de aguas potables y alcantarillados(INAPA) Manuel Pantaleón Casado afirmó que el acueducto la Vigía se encuentra ya en avance de más de un 95 por ciento.
Agregó que esta es la obra cumbre del gobierno de Luis Abinader y realizada por Welington Amín Arnau Bisonó director ejecutivo de INAPA, en dos meses estará lista para ser inaugurada.
El funcionario dijo, que cuando el presidente de la República Luis Abinader asumió como mandatario en el 2020, prometió la construcción de este acueducto; así lo ha cumplido dijo Pantaleón.
El también presidente municipal del Partido Revolucionario Moderno en San José de Ocoa, informó, que el acueducto beneficia el 70 por ciento de la población ocoeña, incluye además el municipio Sabana Larga, y el Distrito Municipal Nizao-Las Auyamas.
Este acueducto dual La Vigía cuenta con un tanque derivador con capacidad de 500 mil galones el de Parra del municipio cabecera la misma cantidad de galones, manifestó el encargado de operaciones ingeniero Viceuris Martínez.
